3 Semi-Trailers of Shoe Boxes

Bergen Evangelical Church along with help by men from Rochester Adult & Teen Challenge packed two complete trailers of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and started on the third one. The boxes came in trucks and trailers from other area collection points. Each carton of fifteen shoe boxes had to be numbered as it was placed in the trailers.

We loaded 723 cartons for approximately 10,845 shoeboxes. Tomorrow is the last day of the collection and each of the 13 collection locations will bring their final dropoff of boxes. We hope that we will reach our goal of 15,001 shoeboxes. Come and watch or even help on this final day of loading the trailers.
